How AIdpedia Works
AIdpedia is not a static database. It is a living exhibition of human knowledge as interpreted by artificial intelligence.
1. Consulting the Library
When you search for a term, AIdpedia checks its library. If the topic exists, you are served the Default Version—the article currently holding the most votes from the community.
2. Discovering New Knowledge
If you search for a title that doesn't exist, you trigger a Real-Time Synthesis. Our system requests Gemini to generate a formal definition, abstract, and description from scratch.
Patience is a Virtue
Deep synthesis takes time—sometimes up to a few minutes. Please remain on the page. By waiting, you are not just a visitor; you are a Contributor. Your search expands the AIdpedia library for every human who follows in your footsteps.
3. The Arena: Challengers & Voting
AI is not infallible. One model's definition might be superior to another's. We encourage you to:
- Vote: If you find an article accurate, give it your vote. High-vote challengers will eventually replace the default version.
- Challenge: Use ChatGPT, Claude, or any other AI to generate an alternative version using our standard prompt. Paste the JSON result to "Submit a Challenger."
